I went with her to South America as a child. Four years old the first time in 1962. Children clearly had no permission to accompany the ship, but the captain made an exception for my mother's sake. Thanks for uploading this fine photo of the finnish ARAGUAYA. I know her well from her rare calls to Hamburg: frozen meat, soya, grain... But: The correct name of the owners was Finland South-America Lines (FSAL) (Finska Sydamerika Linjen AB), founded in 1926. Finska AB (FÅA) took over FSAL in 1965. Hamburg agent was H. M. Gehrckens. Service was closed in 1985. Regards Peter
