Hi Jadran,
greetings back to you and your city!!! I think it's a good place for ship spotting. Me and my family spent two nights on an old ferry, now a hotel, at the harbour. That's the best place for a "photo safari". Relating to the category i can change it into "museum ships" like the other posts, but in my opinion a "museum" must be accessable for people and the "Galeb" is locked behind the harbour gates. So i had to take this picture with a little bit climbing through a wall and a fence.
Best regards to all of you,
Carsten

Like you said, Peter, there's no money to restore the ship, but the owner (city of Rijeka) has already paid more than 1 million Euro since it got hold of her for various fees, checks and paperwork...

Ship has a very interesting history: Italian banana reefer - german minelayer - Titos yacht. More on wikipedia:

Should be a museumship, sold 2010 to Rijeka for 150.000 US-Dollars but obviously nothing happened. I think they have no money for restoring the ship.

When one looks at the pictures of "Galeb" on this site, almost all are in "Museum ships" category.

Now..."Wrecks and Relics" - ominous, I say...

Thanks for sharing!
