Just looking in my Building List of Warnowwerft (by SGO Rostock 1997): 27 off Type VI and 4 off Type VI/69. The first VI/69, the "Ville De Reims", was the very first ship from Warnemunde with bulbous bow. The ship on this photo was the last, the fourth VI/69, thus with "strong chin" also. All ok. ;-)

@asnyk

The last ship was Neptune Amethyst which was renamed in DONG GUANG

So I think the Mystery was solved.

Es ist vielleicht eine späterer Umbau. Sehr ähnlich Schiffe waren von der Pacific I type und haben sie bereits Wulstbug und wurden für China (Hai Feng, Lu Feng und Xin Feng) gebaut.

Miraflores, a little fix you. The Russian ships went to scrap under foreign flags are: Velikye Luki as Luki under St.Vincent flag (1989), Vereya as Ifigenia under flag of Malta (1994), Votkinsk as Ra Jin under North Korean flag (1992), Vostochnyy as Victoria under Cambodian flag (1998) and Volchansk as Jong Pyong under North Korean flag (1992). But i think it's renamed one of three Chinese ships.

@asnyk
I have checked all russian ships, they went to scrapyard under russian flag, not as chinese, the swiss ships also were not sold to China.

It may be buying second-hand, but the change of ownership could be repainted the hull ....

One of 31 ships VI type, built by Warnowwerft, Warnemunde 1963-1969 (18 for USSR, 4 for Norway, 4 for France, 3 for China and 2 for Switzerland). But it is not none of Russian ships.
