Haha Jadran, I fully agree with you. Just read the news in a Hamburg ship report forum yesterday. Following the information presented in this forum, the 20th Triple-E "Mathilde Maersk" is announced to come to Hamburg on 16.08.
Me, I'm yet unsure, whether I'll be on the spot and able to take my shots or on vacation. Anyway, I'm sure some shots of her call will make it on Shipspotting...hope the site won't be "drowned" with her photos:-))

And...I've to say thank you very much for your great compliment on this shot!

..... wow David,, that is indeed good, even to say: great news,, a Triple-E finally arriving at Hamburg,, for the first time,, I suppose this website will be "over-flooded" with shots of that event ... will you make a shot or two also !? :-)


However, the CMA CGM AMAZON certainly deserves her full attention at the very moment,, her first call to Hamburg ... and your very nice photo to document this occasion !

I kinda like this "classic" container ship design with this one.
It's really the season of maiden calls this summer, even a Triple-E is announced to call at Hamburg this month, it would be the first ever to come.
