CYCLE
...Cycle (4)

Australian

IMO 7348671

Built: 1974 - 1994

Howard Smith’s CYCLE built 1974 by Neptun VEB, Rostock, as Norwegian HANSA.

A victim of the Iran/Iraq war. In 1979 she was transferred to a Singapore subsidiary of Howard Smith and managed by Thome and Company, being renamed Timur Endeavour in 1980. She was detained in the Shat el Arab on 30 October 1980 and arrived at Basrah on 29 November where she was subsequently declared a CTL, although no reason is given - presumably war damage. Howard Smith seem to have lost interest in her in 1982 following an aborted sale to Kappa Maritime. She eventually arrived at Gadani Beach on 1 January 1994 for demolition.
