The new owners are also the registered owners of Red Star 1 that trades between Italy and Albania therefore it seems very likely that this is the route that Ibn Batouta is destined for.

Confirmed, Durres. The tug´s crew tell us the destination. Also the new owner of the ship commented the engine is very good and interior´s ship is in good condition, so it seems this vessel will have a new life.

So looks like a reprieve from Aliaga/razorblades as listed as "to be broken up". Tug BRUCOLI is indeed indicating destination as Durres.

Yes Nigel, port of Durres, Albania. A sister ship is working there,the MF/ Bari IMO 7813937.
