Question : Why she is towed, I mean if she is sold for further trade shouldn,t she able to move on her own,,or long time laid up,,engine broken ? or ?

The tug towing the Ibn Batouta is showing Durres in Albania as a destination which would indicate that she has been sold for further trading. She secured a price at auction of over 1m euros which is high compared to her three fleet mates which have now all sailed under tow to scrapyards in Turkey. Perhaps she will join her sister ship Bari es Isla de Botafoc which trades on the Durres Bari route?
