The 1935 Wm. Doxford, Sunderland, built GEORGIOS M II, owned by Loucas G. Matsas of Piraeus, is seen arriving at Rotterdam, possibly in November 1965 to load for Cuba.

on 20.11.68 the GEORGIOS M II suffered a fire and explosions and then sinking 30 miles west of Cape Blanco during a voyage from Gdynia to North Korea with a cargo of coke.
Cape Blanco, a 40-mile peninsula on the African coast of the Atlantic Ocean divided between Mauritania and Morocco, is now known as Ras Nouadhibou (Arabic: رأس نواذيبو).
It is now internationally known as Cabo Blanco in Spanish or Cap Blanc in French (both meaning "White Cape")
