Dear friends,Jadran always had his mother on his mind and lovingly in his heart,Yes Rick his mother keeps getting on my mind when I hear about a son's death, usually it is the children who bury their parents and not the other way round, sometimes life is very cruel to parents. When my son had an accident and very nearly lost his life ,me and my wife experienced the worst time of our lives.I hope that somehow Jadran's mother is somehow coping with her only son demise.Hope no one passes through such tragic circumstances.
condolences to his dear mother.
regrets , rest in peace dear friend, your aches and pains are now over.
Thanks for all the thoughts of remembrance by all Jadran's friends.

Emmanuel and friends, I have just returned, once again, from Croatia, where, during my travels I thought frequently on the loss of my dear friend Jadran and the many times we met, drank coffee and chatted in Bakar, just south of Rijeka.
I also thought of his dear, and very elderly mother, having to cope with the death of her only child, so very late in life.
Rest in peace Jadran.
Rick

Many thanks David for your confirmation ( I was almost sure for your vacation & it being a relaxing one ! ),, Denmark is indeed a very well destination,, but next year you must try Croatia and the warm Adriatic ... I do recommend you this option ! hehehe

And yes, yes, yes..... I'm enjoying my jubilee,, although today the number suddenly changed to 65 (you can see on my 'View profile') :o :D

Cheers
Jadran

Exactly, you're right:-)), spent some relaxing days at a very idyllic and calm place in Northern Denmark... and - yes - did some shipspotting in the surroundings, but only a little.

Already checked my shot from Hanstholm fishing harbour?!:) http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2307890 there are some more to come in soon.

Thank you very much for your kind words my friend, enjoy your jubilee!
All the best,
David

Hehe, your ships grow bigger and bigger Jadran, it's the same behaviour the boxboats display at Hamburg port. Congeneric bearing, I guess:))
...and, btw, a great shot you managed to take!

Cheers, David
