Thank you friends for your really nice comments, much esteemed!
Clyde, I guess the seagulls are enjoying shipspotting at Hanstholm harbour at least as much as I did. It's all a matter of taste:))
Jim, I'd say the gulls are rather distracted by the appearance of a car pressing forward into THEIR territory...

Kind regards,David

Good sharp shot David! With a workmanlike sturdy vessel as subject.

For someone who states he is no expert at all, you are well informed.
Judging by the state of the dockside, the birds have enjoyed the available food for some time

Many thanks Jadran my friend! Glad you like it. Hanstholm, which is referred to as the biggest fishing port in entire Denmark is for sure kinda paradise for fish-loving seagulls.

To come to the bird species (and note I'm no expert at all:)). From left to right: one European herring gull (Larus Argentatus, adult), three Great black-backed gulls (Larus marinus, juveniles), one European herring gull (juvenile).

Best regards to Rijeka from late summer Hamburg,
David

What a really nice & much pleasing shot David,, from now on I will be a fan of fishing vessels, I do promise this :D :D ..... and in addition, I very much like those seagulls (are they seagulls ? they look different in colour than on the Adriatic);
Greetings from Rijeka
Jadran
