Messiniaki Anagennissis (= Messinia Renessance) was one of the series of 10 sisters ordered to IHI by Michael Karagiorgis (Michael A. Karagiorgis, Piraeus, Greece), in the late '60s. In 1980 the majority of thos sisters had been sold to Eletson Corp and Chandris. Eletson kept them until their 26th anniversary and traded them well, mainly in Cont-Med where the company got established in the molasses and fuel oil trades.
