Boizenburg built ships are not so bad. Elbewerft Boizenburg was founded in 1793, after 1945 named VEB Elbewerften Boizenburg. Closed 1997 after bankrupt. Yard built total ships of more than 500.000 GRT, mostly inland cargo vessels, coasters, inland passenger vessels ("Dmitriy-Furmanov-class"), floating cranes of good quality. Regards Peter
