Definitely Jens, it's a must-do. I made this trip vice versa i.e. from Brunsbüttel to Cuxhaven and back again some 2 or 3 hours later.
If you travel without your car, as I did, the prices are comfortable low (9 euros the whole trip).

At Brunsbüttel ferry station, parking is very easy and yet for free.

I really have to make this trip from Cuxhaven to Brunsbüttel and back.

Thank you Denis for your nice comment! She's at least a cool appearance, very aerodynamic.
However, apparently nobody on the balconies to enjoy cruising on the river Elbe, dinner time, I guess:)
