She has no sails. The sails you see is from another vessel behind her !!! As aholtham wrote she is a former HLD (Harbour Launch Diesel) not a tug after all but i need to find where to put her... I have the impression she was used as a yacht at the time...

Interesting picture. This ship must have much history. When did she last use her sails, some visible? I dont see her equipped as a tug. About her name; I find her neither Black, nor Beauty.

I suspected i put this in the wrong category... So should she go to Workboats (as a launch) or is she
considered a "yacht" now ?

Hi, this is a former Admiralty 52.5ft HLD 43664. She was built by Rutherford @ Birkenhead and completed in 1945. Before leaving for the Med, she was a houseboat at Hayling Island. Brilliant photograph. Cheers Tony.
