The general cargo ship Gina D on the Manchester Canal at Ellesmere Port. For many years she was one of a number of vessels engaged in grain traffic from Liverpool to Manchester. This traffic was gradually phased out and ended in 2011. Gina D herself had been laid up in the former Manchester drydocks since 2010. After 5 years of inactivity she was reactivated for this voyage from Manchester to Liverpool where it is understood she has new owners.
