Description:

The general cargo ship Sharon on the Mersey approaching Eastham Locks inbound to Runcorn. For reasons unknown she had a police escort during her transit up the Mersey. The police launch Consortium and an RIB can be seen at the stern. Another police RIB is out of sight.
