If we'd kept on building boats like this instead of going for the biggest boat with the biggest engine possible for the length then we might still have a decent fleet. Crying shame that most if not all of these type of very economic seiner's have been chainsaw'd up and turned into firewood.

Modern boats just don't have the lines that these boats did , burn 4+ times the fuel and most wont last another 10 years where-as these type of boats could keep going even now for decades.
