The launch of the "AFRODITE", dated 13. April 1964 out of the shipbuilding hall of shipyard D. W. Kremer Sohn in Elmshorn (Germany). Ordered by Stenabolagen, Sten A. Olsson, Göteborg, 564 GRT and did her first job between Kappeln (Schlei) and Faaborg (Danmark). Length 48,27 m, 8 m beam, 5,75 m heigth und 2,30 depth, 315 pax.
