Steam tug FORCEFUL at BSE Maritime Solutions slipway, Brisbane for hull work 5 Oct 2015.
Built: 1925 by Alexander Stephen & Sons,Glasgow, Scotland. No.509 for McDonald Hamilton; later to the Queensland Tug Company, Brisbane.
288gt 105dwt 36.88m x 8.26m x 4.08m 13 knots
To Royal Australian Navy 4 Dec 1941 - 11 Oct 1943 as HMAS FORCEFUL and then returned to her owners.
WFS 28 Sep 1970 and laid up at Brisbane.
10 June 1971 presented to Queensland Maritime Museum Association, Brisbane, to be used for museum trips.
Laid up Aug 2006.
Currently kept as a floating exhibit due to cost of repairs and maintenance.
