Another ship with this funnel marking I have photographed was Alfred C Toepfer's EMMA JOHANNA (IMO 7407001) See: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=3380592

Malim Sahib:
I think CAPE GRENVILLE was a bit less nightmarish for the SSM engineers than the others of the class. Most of the Haugesund ships were fitted initially with 12-cylinder Ruston & Hornsby medium-speed four-strokes which, after a couple of years, had to be replaced with Stork Werkspoor 12TM40s. CAPE GRENVILLE had the less-troublesome, Dutch-built engines from the start.

Nice shot Bob, incidentally she wasn't the only SSM casualty if the Iran/Iraq war with Baron Cawdor as Antigoni sunk by an Iraqi missile (exocet?) on 21.11.83 off Bandar Khomeini

A Like from me for the beloved classic 70s cone-shaped cranes & interesting twin funnel arrangement. Excellent photo too!

Many an SSM engineer had nightmares about these ships, just a day in the life of a "Sun, sex and Marijuana" trip!
