As far as I know, she will mainly be used to transport ethane from the USA to a new Ineos plant in the UK.

The industry uses the term 'multigas carrier' to describe such ships. Tank construction uses Type C technology (i.e. the same as in semi-pressurised LPG carriers) but multigas vessels are capable of refrigerating down to -163 deg. C and therefore can transport LNG, as well as ethylene and LPG

Superb photo, Tomas!

Now the company will have video of the ship. This will be carried out by a drone. This is very exciting !!

Shale Gas is methane (natural gas). So it must be classed as LNG, I think

@ echobow,,,, Is there a difference between a LPG/LNG or "shale" gas tanker ?

WOW, outstanding beautiful shot! Great work Tomas/Sander.
As a shale gas tanker, yet a real exotic I think.
