Good shot, Rivanj!

Also brings back memories, like being aboard in sea state 6, trying (and failing, eventually) to get from Poreč on Istrian coast to Venice, going around the Gulf of Triest, seeing her hull distort on the waves...

Also, on one occasion in 1999, going to Venice on a different high speed craft, I remember hearing the "Mayday" from Dora, when she managed to breach her hull on some rocks, after veering off course and eventually sinking in shallow water (and there is a juicy conspiracy theory about that day, too!)...

Anyway, beautiful vessel...for calm lakes. Brutal for Adriatic. :)

My ever most favourite HSV for sure..... have done 3 impressive, long-distance & unforgettable trips on her before more than 20 years ago (one time even with a freshly-broken leg !! );
At that time her name was IRIS ............

: brilliant shot, rivanj !
cheers (J)
