ex Leola Vivian; built 1939 by George Askew, Sidney, BC;
for Will Vivian, owner of Vivian Engine Works as demo for large 8-ton Vivian engine;
equipped with large fuel tanks for projected voyage to Australia;
1942: to Royal Canadian Navy, serving as tender to HMCS Burrard;
1947: to Ministry of Lands & Forests, Victoria, BC; renamed BC Surveyor;
1966: transferred to BC Forest Service, Victoria, BC; renamed Oliver Clark II
(after BC Forest Service employee);

L x B: 17 x 4.4 m

vessel no longer registered in Canada; date of closure: November 15, 2011
