Yes Clive, i have also some good memories about this ship. We took this ferry for our trips to London and Ireland (via Harwich). And on the River Elbe had nice times with her passing, when we were on the beach at Kolmar and awaiting her big waves. Long ago, but good memories: Campfire in the sand, bottle of beer, sleeping in the tent with our girlfriends and we woke up when the waves came in. What a beautiful time. Regards Peter

How handsome she was. I remember seeing her coming into Harwich when she was just a few weeks old. I was about to disembark from the ferry from Holland and my camera was in my suitcase!!
