Description:
WINDOC - 24 April 2008 - Photographed as she was being towed downbound in the Welland Canal by the tugs WYATT M, VIGILANT 1, LAC MANITOBA and VAC. They had just departed wharf 17 in the harbour at Port Colborne. She was ballasted down to nearly 24 feet at her bow so that her partially scrapped stern was up out of the water for the tow.. The burned out former stern section of WINDOC had been dismantled at the IMS scrapyard. She would eventually end up right back at the scrapyard where she was entirely cut up for scrap..
