MARANOA (II) 3,359 gross tons. Cargo vessel built 1921 at the State Dockyard, Walsh Island, Newcastle New South Wales for Australian Government's Commonwealth Government line as the Eromanga. December 1925 sold to the AUSN Co. and renamed Maranoa. Sold November 1934 to unknown Japanese buyers and handed over on 24th January 1935 at Kobe. Immediately resold to Johan Gran and renamed Mione. February 1937 sold to V K Song. East bound from Nauru to Japan she foundered on 26th January 1940.
