This morning in the Caland Canal, three VLCCs (Maran Cleo, Samail and Phoenix Vigor) in various stages of loading, waiting to be further topped up. At the beginning of the queue is Alfa Italia, and barely visible at the Aberdeen is laso there. Earlier this year the Rotterdam Port extended the number of STC locations, and this is about the busiest I have seen them.

Thank you Echobow, normally I would edit out the occasional windmills, but this time I let them in the shot...and btw on the left in the Canal, not visible, is the OLYMPIC TRUST, which is also loading for the Far East.

A truly amazing sight Pieter, great composition!
However, the windmills might symbolize a warning to the dirty oil business which is outdated & running out of time as fuel prices proceed to drop.
