You are quite correct, Prudential Lines' "Seajet" class cargo liners were the same type as U.S. Lines' "Challenger-II" class. I never sailed on any of these but I understand that they were fast ships, capable of over 20 knots,

The deck cargo looks like US Army (or Air Force) semi-trailers. By the time of this photo, much of US Lines' non-cellular activity in Europe was involved with serving US military bases in the UK and on the Continent. Thanks, Reg, for the reminder of the "Challenger II" class designation
