Description:

Ship photography at Portishead in 1966 started well with the East German freighter WERNER SEELENBINDER on New Year's Day, inbound for Avonmouth from Dar-es-Salaam from where she had sailed on 28th November.

Delivered to VEB Deutsche Seereederei at Warnemünde in February 1964, WERNER SEELENBINDER was sold for breaking in 1988. She sailed from Tuticorin on 26th May 1988 as MILOS I bound for Alang where she arrived four days later for breaking.
