Description:

Today marks the 40th anniversary of my trip around Lagos Roads when about 300 ships, mainly loaded with bagged cement, were at anchor.

here is AGNIC,the former PERANG of Elder Dempster, built at Hartlepool in 1954 and purchased by General Marine Agency (Michael J.Livanos) in 1972. She had arrived off the port from the Black Sea on 31st August 1975 and eventually entered the port to discharge her cargo, sailing on 21st September 1976.
