Description:

Not the sharpest of shots but the only one I have of this Icelandic Ro/Ro. Eimskip has not yet been painted on her side, so this is early in her charter period. Incoming at the Hook around 1980. Please note that this is the only shot of her on the site in het original (shorter) version.

shot on exaclty the same spot as the ALAFOSS. As you say, they stick/stuck together....

Hello Pieter,
there is a foto of her sister "Cala Fustan" ex "Eyrarfoss" plus many more ex-names on this site. IMO 7702657 now "Mira". Shown in NAVIERA MALLORQUINA livery. When Trasmediterranea took over NAVIERA MALLOR. they changed to black livery. Both vessels have bee frequent visitors here to Palma de Mallorca. At least one of them in port every day. On certain ocassions both of them the same day. I liked the NAVIERA livery very much. Dark red colour.
Seems that both vessels stick together all their lifetimme sailing for the same owners.
