Originally on order for Shell Tankers at Harland & Wolff, but taken over by Hadley Shipping. Of the same design as Shell's H and K class tankers.
Two steam turbines geared to a single shaft and a service speed of 14.5 K.
Was employed in 1966 delivering refined (black oil) products around the New Zealand coast for Shell on nine voyages.
