I like how in the first half of the 80s designs of this kind of ships finally reached their peak of perfection & yet right from the mid 80s suddenly no newer such vessels were built since the whole appearance became obsolete already & Stuelcken was no longer around to produce their HLD's, besides Huisman was actively introducing it's much more effective mast cranes. Also deck cranes became more reliable & perfect for cargo handling, than derricks that could only swing withing some 120 degrees.
