Maersk Auckland arriving Tauranga 31.1.07 from west coast North America. She is one of the large series of the Wenchong1700 containerships completed by Guangzhou Wenchong shipyard #291 on 1.1.03. She was then chartered later that year by Maersk to operate in a joint service with ANZDL (CMA CGM now) to USA with other sisterships. She left the service in 2007 and under her owners name Hansa Brandenburg she suffered a major fire in July 2013 near Singapore, declared CTL and broken up at Gadani Beach.
