I thought that Jadrolinija (owner of the "Lastovo") had less of those "usual hand-me-down" old ships... :)
And then I remembered that the "Marina", built in 1936 was almost sailing into the 21 century...

One of the sisters is STARLITE PIONEER (already delivered).
I hope it works for her owner, as she will still have to compete against those old Japanese ferries (renamed with some saints' names, because it increases the safety level!)...

This is a very interesting initaitive. New ferries for the Philippines instead of the usual hand-me-down floating death traps. But she still has the old school Japanese styling :-)
She will have at least two sisters (yardnos. 1169 & 1174).
