This is the same old steamer, but with the Horizon Lines markings painted out. The ship is now being operated by Pasha Lines, and will probably come out in their colors after her next scheduled shipyard period. Pasha already appears to be carrying more cargo with these old ships than Horizon Lines was able to attract, and very likely they will be ordering new construction ships from American shipyards to replace these.
This ship was originally built as AUSTRAL PIONEER by Bethlehem Steel at their Sparrows Point MD yard, for Farrell Line's Pacific service. She was delivered as a container ship, but the design of her house reflects the development of this class from break-bulk cargo ship conversions.
