Hi MattyBoy. Keep trying my friend. Night shots are like a challenge or competition against the darkness. When you get a good one, you win, and the better...you enjoy that special shot.
I love night shots and enjoy shotting and shotting like hell. Shadows, reflections, shinning lights, different colors. Its nice, at least for me.
By the way, have a nice trip and enjoy your cruise onboard this lady, hopefully you are going to do a lot of spotting ( day and night...jeje) here at Canary Islands ¿¿??. Thanks a lot for your kind comments my friend.
MBregards.

That is really good photo, the clarity - I envy everyone who can take night photo's. I've tried many times but failed. I don't bother anymore.
Hopefully, ruling out plane crashes, I should be on board her next week!

Hi Clyde. No, no tripod. I was passenger on the ferry Volcan del Teide and the shot was taken just with bare hands ( almost 15 shots to get 3 good ones in different angles) when the ferry was moving slow ahead approaching the pier. Thanks a lot for your kind comments.

Ventuari, you have done it again! A beautiful night shot. Do you use a tripod?
