Description:

The ex RYSY II, one of three Howaldts werke built turbine tankers built for PZM (Poland in 1974-75. In 1985 she was converted to a "dump storage barge" (Miramar) whatever that is, after having sailed just for two years as ANASTASIS II.

She was owned by Chronos Shipping, Piraeus, Greece of Naslas family. The company has been a nich player in the large bitumen tankers segment and today, apart from several modern kamsarmax bulkers, owns a trio of big asphalt tankers namely ASPHALT EAGLE, ASPHALT STAR, ASPHALT SAILOR. A very reliable, strong albeit low key Greek owner.
