Marchen Maersk going out yesterday. The reason for me to post this is purely photographic. Hannes van Rijn just posted an excellent shot of her, but compared to mine, under virtually the same circumstances, different location though, but the same shooting angle, it is totally different. My shot was done in RAW, editing through ACDSee, but only horizon levelling, noise reduction and sharpening. No under/over exposure when shooting, AV 7.1 (priority) ISO 125 and 1/800. Camera used Canon 1D MkIV (crop factor 1.3) and the 28-300 was at 235 mm.
Perhaps we should actually move this to the forum, but I would like to opinions on what you consider to be the pro and cons of both shots.
