Hi riohondo, I have seen some very strange things on Marinetraffic such as vehicle carriers in the midst of yacht marina in Vittoriosa, other ships mysteriously appearing in Valletta harbour or even in the middle of the island etc, etc so I don't take it as gospel.regards.

Marinetraffic clearly shows she is en route to the Adriatic, not Genoa, with ETA Bar March 21st.

The last information I have is she is going to Genoa. She was towed out by the Italian tug FALISCA. I tried to get a last photo of her but as she left after 12.00, I had to leave Senglea Point because of other commitments , so alas I did not get to see her leave after have seen her arrive 27 months ago.regards.

Clive...you are not a lone voice....I too love her lines...much better than some of the modern "playthings" around.
A damn shame indeed.

Assuming the tug is the FALISCA, destination is Bar, Montenegro.

I have just seen this yacht being towed out of Valletta today. Hope she's going somewhere nice and not the giant scrap yards in the sky.

Hi Clive .I think your wish is a bit dear moneywise as the price of completing this conversion has now gone overboard as the accumulated of over 2 years wharf fees and the further cost of the conversion has reached a very high figure, which I think makes it prohibitive to continue this overlong venture.regards.

I know that I'm a lone voice but I like the look of this vessel and I just wish that someone would take charge of her and complete the conversion work. I doubt that will happen and I expect that it is more likely that she will be towed off to the breakers instead.
