Hi Vlad and Jadran,

The refit doesn't seem to have done much for the career of this vessel, as she arrived off Alang for breaking on 30/12/'16 as per GMS report dated 30/12/'16.

Thanks for your comment, Jadran!

I remember Kraka, devil's ship that did everything in her power to try to destroy "Viktor Lenac"... :)
"Heimdal" was anchored off Masan for quite some time in 2013, and did not look to well. But now, after spending about a month at Orient shipyard in Busan, she looks decisively better. Marinetraffic lists her owners as "Seacor Offshore", and has other info pretty up to date, so I believe it...

Hi Vlad,
I wonder if she is still in service for the interests of ALCATEL (the orderer of this conversion from Ro/Ro vessel to Cable layer vessel ).

Identical conversion project was undergoing at shipyard Viktor Lenac, Rijeka beginning 2000s,, the KRAKA,, but never completed.......

... btw, a brilliant photograph of this optical-cable layer, Vlad !
best regards from Rijeka,
jadran
