This super beautiful vessel I saw first in 1970 without taking a photo. At that day I waited at the welcome point (Wedel) until the evening to get this ship in full sun. Despite the poor camera I had at a that time it was a good photo.
I never saw such a beautiful vessel again.

A lovely ship indeed. Accommodation for 12 passengers. She had a grand piano in her saloon, which I was responsible for removing on her last call at Cape Town on her way to the breakers.

Hi Gerolf, this ship and other Blue Star ships made many visits to her namesake part of the world.Late 1940's and 1950's.I saw them many times, they indeed were beautiful vessels.
