She was built for the North Carolina Dept. of Transportation in 1970, (DOC. NO. 528840) her former name(?) and sold four or more years ago. She was in Boats & Harbors for sale after a ferry route between Reedville, VA and Crisfield, MD was turned down. (A much needed ferry route on the Chesapeake Bay, I might add.) I think she was then called the Harry Drinkwater at that time?
