I suppose that the conversion was done by Delta Tug Co's own shipyard. She has kept her original IMO number, but been given a new USCG No 1180110.

In 2005, the tug was acquired by the Crescent Towing and Salvage Company Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Noon Wednesday.
The tug's name originated from Crescent Towing and Salvage Executive Ervin Cooper. Who played golf at noon every Wednesday. And, that he would not be in the office at that time.
He named the boat Noon Wednesday. to remind all of the Crescent Towing and Salvage Company employees.
Powered by two EMD 16-645 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAV 2600 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4:1. Turning two four bladed, fixed pitch, 114(in) by 84(in), stainless steel propellers mounted in kort nozzles. For a rated 4,500 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two 75 kW Delco generators, driven by two Detroit Diesel 6-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 30,000 gallons of fuel, 2,000 gallons of water, and 1,000 gallons of lube oil.
Her deck equipment consists of a McElroy CME single drum escort winch. Outfitted with 400(ft) of 7(in) line. Powered by a 30 horsepower motor.
