Description:

View of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Sydney, with the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Voyager of the Seas (9171716; 137276gt/1999; 311m) berthed on 13 Mar 2016.
The terminal was originally built in 1958 with major additions made in 1988 with many more upgrades since.
In November 2014 a 60m extension was completed making the wharf 280m long. A mooring dolphin was also added in Campbell Cove. This now enables the largest cruise ships visiting Sydney at present to berth here.
The Fanatsea catamaran launch in the foreground in Campbell Cove was tendering passengers out into the harbour to the Costa Luminosa moored in Athol Bay. Unfortunately when two large cruise ships visit Sydney one must be moored out in the harbour. Only those that can sail under the bridge can use the White Bay terminal upstream.

Great photo of the stern and the top deck of the "Voyager of the Seas" John. Well done.

Thanks Clyde.
Yes, all 200 steps from the bridge walkway, plus about another 100 to reach the walkway from the Rocks area below. Very good exercise but the view was great.
Hadn't been up there for years.
Cheers,
John

Good one John! Did you climb up inside the south east Pylon?
