MattyBoy, maybe it's the famous WW2 battleship you've got in mind, while this is a nuclear powered guided missile cruiser, CGN-40, and there's a 30 years distance between them (and a completely different concept, too!)...
And the missiles on this cruiser could hit much harder than the artillery shells of the Iowas...
