She looks good, very nice design. Captain Ted, do the designers of these mega ships not have to prove they can evacuate all the passengers in a given time, the same as aircraft manufacturers do?

Well,, she looks different,, what I dread most when the first of this mega paxers really sink witthin minutes ( Concordia did only not sink because of the rock, if not for the rock, there would have been 1000,s dead) I hope that never happens,,but it will,, sooner or later ,,, it is virtual impossible to evacuate 4-6000 people from a ship without massive casualties when it has to happen in rather short time. who ever lets believe the rest of the world that it is not so is a dreamer or a ignorant.

Even if the bow shape & AIDA livery both ignored, she still stands outs from the rest of mega cruisers. Her sides, although not good looking, aren't boring/monotonous either. And I agree with Jadran - if her hull could be painted plain black & the funnel in some buff or other colour - suddenly she would look MUCH better, as a modern "classic" liner.

Before Mr. Dot chimes in and tells us all otherwise:, in my eyes she 's a bit of a looker.

..... though,, would be much nicer/more elegant if the hull was of plain black colour

After a very long-long time of hard work, work & work,, the outcome appears not bad! ... at least to say: it's distinctively different than the others !!
