PRINZ LUDWIG was a so called "Reichspostdampfer" (Empire Mail Steamer) from 1906 until 1914 on the route Europe to Far East managed by Norddeutscher Lloyd. Launched: 12. Mai 1906, delivered: 9. August 1906.
Construction costs: 4,880 million Marks.
Passengers: 113 in I. class, 128 in II. class, 58 in III. class, 395 in tweendeck.
Crew: 238 men. Laid up during WW I in Bremerhaven. On end of war as reparations delivered to Great Britain. Regards Peter
