Seen arriving at Eastham on 3rd August 1980 was the 1970 Alblasserdam (Holland) built 152 TEU container ship HEHALUZ II, owned by Industrial & Shipping Co. Tarshish (1978) Ltd of Haifa. She was the former German owned SALLY-79, SALLY ISLE-74.
Other ships in their fleet at the time were the larger DROR II (ex VILLE D'ORIENT ex HOPE ex HOPE ISLE) and PALMAH II, operating as ZIM SYDNEY.
