Robert, many thanks for your comment and information. Clyde thanks , I think James P sold her and replaced with a faster more modern yacht. Currently in Hawaian waters on a ship, will post other photos on my return. Cheers

Congratulations Tony. Much better than most holiday snaps.

The P after Arctic seems to come and go. It's not on the bow. Does the big Packer still own her?

I was on the semi- submersible rig SEDCO 700, in 1979, being towed by the Arctic. We reached a speed of 12 knots, through the English Channel. I think it was the fastest speed, the SEDCO 700 ever achieved. I seem to remember somebody saying the Arctic was the most powerful tug in the World at the time.
